I am 38 single(w/longtime boyfriend).I had abd.hystorectomy leaving healthy ovaries 11/28/06 then 10/25/07 was told needed another to remove ENLARGING growth on lft ovary on 10/26/07 less than a year later and 2 weeks after losing my job that had been very stressfull due to a number of things. Now could use a HUGE self esteem buster. Am healing very well, wishing this belly(body) could look better in clothes since a c-section(11yrs ago) and 2 very recent abd hysterectomy's my belly to me is very bad for my self esteem.Since I have never been very good w/choosing clothes, hair, makeup for myself it all just makes for a very limited wardrobe(although I am not and have never been a fancy kind of person-very casual) and so so hair(but have been told I have enough hair for 2 heads.I am having a hard time adding a pic and need an actual email address to use and send a different way since our computer lost fight w/lightning strike close to hm.If interested pls email me so I can send you photo.. Thank You, Veronica Feldman

I am a married 48 year old mother of four, I have always taken pride in my appearence, but after the stresses of a sick child with heart defects,a major car accident that left me with a limp, and loosing my job and retirement I still did'nt give up. I started my own small business, but latley I've had very low self esteem and feel that what I do doesn't make a differance. I want to be a good role model for my dhildren, but need a boost of confidence. I have never had a day at a spa,or a manicure, pedicure or a pair of shoes that fit right. I know that there are alot of people out there that probably deserve a makeover more than me, but I thought I would tell a small part of my story.

I am a 65 year old woman that retired two years ago. After three months of retirements I found that retirement was not for me.

I have gone back to work part time to a private boys boarding school and enjoy my work.

I have found that in interviewing I did not have the confidence I once had because of my grey hair (which I've just started coloring again) and a "falling" face. I am contemplating a face lift.

I've never had confidence in my look and would appreciate any helpful advice.

I am 37 yrs old. I live in Lugoff, South Carolina, just outside of Columbia. Between my husband and I we have 7 children and one granddaughter. I own a daycare and so my life is all about children. I like it that way but this means that my appearance, although important to me, is pretty low on the priority list. After being a single mom of 3 for 8 years, my husband and I were married last year and I have also been losing a great deal of weight. Now, I am trying to find clothes that make me happy with my new size and also appealing to my new husband. Then there is my hair and it just drives me nuts. I just do not know what look is good for me. Oh and since I normally just trim my own hair I am limited on styles I will try.
Between the daycare, my family and my girlscout troop, I do not have much me time. I would love to just once do something for me. Can you help me please. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

I'm a 60 year old grandmother living in Fincastle, Virginia, a small town near Roanoke. In July of this year, my granddaughter,Bethany, whose 12, suffered a brain injury, when she fell out of a golf cart, she was in intensive care for 24 days and in rehab for 21 days, she is now home and does home schooling and vocational therapy. I go to her house everyday and stay with her while her parents go to work and her 17 year old brother goes to school and then work. I have gained alot of weight and most of my clothes don't fit and I'm having trouble styling my hair, so I can just rush out the door in the morning. I was in the process of changing hair styles, when the accident happened. My granddaughter is making great strides in her recovery, but she still can not be left alone. Thank you for your time and consideration. My home phone number is 540-473-3418

i am a recent transplant in Tulsa from Roanoke Va--hey Barbara!!! i know where you are...I have never been good at doing hair, and even though I almost went bald, I still like my hair to be thick and full bodied.....but find myself always pulling it up in a bun anyway. I have no clue on what style is good for me or my face....or my body and don't want to end up looking like some cartoon character with wierd hair. I need help in every sense of the word!!!

I'm a 51 year old mother of 2 sons. Since I lost my job last year, I haven't been motivated to dress or look like much these days. I haven't been able to go shopping because of my financial situation, or even get my hair and nail done. I was depressed real bad for awhile job searching, but I'm coming out of it, and would like a total new look so I can get a new job.
